We’re back with a new edition of The Hope Box. This time around we have Rebecca Solnit’s Hope in the Dark. In an era of political gloom, the book (originally written at the outset of the Iraq war) lays the groundwork for hope, again. Something, we could all do with at this stage. Next, we have Rainer Maria Rilke’s Letters to a Young Poet. We’ve read these letters multiple times over the years, each time gleaning something new. For poetry, we have Imtiaz Dharker’s the terrorist at my table. It’s stunning how reflective it is of the times we are currently living in. We’ve added it because ignorance may be bliss, but it won’t save you in the long term.
The box also includes a notebook, 3 poetry cards from our collection, bookmarks, stickers and some surprises. Write to us to know more and book a box.
